Quantum Building Supplies was first established in 1994 and we have grown to become a major importer and distributor of products for the construction industry in Jersey.

We hold comprehensive stocks of all general building materials and we work hard to source and deliver a wide range of special order products too. As a member of a major UK Buying Group we have access to a nationwide network of many varied suppliers and this helps us to supply a huge range of products at excellent competitive rates, with speedy delivery guaranteed.

We operate a fleet of delivery vehicles which provide an extremely fast delivery service to all corners of the island daily.

Phil has over 20 years of working experience within the construction industry here in Jersey. He joined Quantum some 15 years ago and has worked in many roles across the business. Phil started on his career in management at Quantum around 2012, when he began to manage the sales office, Goods in and internal sales teams. Having an overview and gaining experience across all of the business functions proved invaluable – and in May 2019 Phil stepped up to become General Manager of Quantum, initially helping to support, shape and develop the business and teams when Quantum became part of the NP Group. He relishes both the responsibility and opportunity to continue developing the Quantum business and brand over the coming years to offer the best products and service to our valued customers and local community.  Outside of his role, Phil enjoys boating in the summer months around the islands and coast of France, working on projects himself (anything from tinkering with cars or building engines, to creative woodwork and metalwork) and spending time with family and friends.

Tim joined Quantum Building supplies in 2015 and has enjoyed engagement with the local construction industry at all levels. He has had the pleasure of being involved in the material procurement at many prestigious contracts here on the island with all of the island’s leading developers – helping with everything from the smallest orders to keep sites going, to working closely with the main contractors for the supply of hundreds of tonnes of reinforcing steel on a weekly basis for the construction at the  Jersey International Finance Centre Buildings One and Five.

Tim has built strong professional relationships over the years with Senior members of some of the largest construction companies on the island as well as many smaller family businesses who he has the pleasure to call friends as well as clients. His current role will enable him to concentrate on our goal to become the first-stop answer to material acquisition on the Island and to continue the ethos of the company helping to build a Better Jersey

After a long and enjoyable career in hospitality, Paul moved to Romerils and worked in their tool department, where he gained invaluable knowledge. In November 2020 he joined Quantum as an Estimator in Sales – and after a few months in May 2021, was then offered the position of External Sales Representative which Paul cordially accepted and has been in ever since.
