We are looking for a Tipper Driver to support Quantum and provide excellent customer service by delivering products to our customers in a safe and timely manner. A HGV license would be advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Aiding other departments as needed, in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner
- Reviewing orders scheduled for delivery using the Journey Manifest, ensuring orders are complete and that the customer is satisfied
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints
- Carrying out daily checks to ensure that vehicles are clean, safe to drive and ensure records are maintained
- Assisting & supervising the loading of goods to be delivered in a safe, efficient manner
- Using handheld devices correctly to evidence proof of delivery
- Assisting with the unloading of goods from vehicles on site
- Operating equipment and machines whilst reducing the risk of vehicle overloading
- Being compliant with the traffic laws and maintaining a safe driving record
- Undergoing training as and when required by the business
- Ensuring procedures included within the Group Health & Safety Policy are always adhered to
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to resolve customer complaints and issues
- Basic computer and problem solving skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge
